Contact usHi there! My name is Benjamin Stonehouse and I am a 31-year-old entrepreneur with over 12 years of experience in business. I have owned and operated multiple businesses, including a lettings agency that transforms helicopters into glamping pods and an event hire business called Events Gear which provided equipment to some of the biggest festivals in the UK. In addition to these ventures, I am also the founder of Going Solo. I am passionate about giving back and supporting other business owners and am always looking for new and innovative ways to make an impact in the business world.
Outside of work, I am passionate about flying helicopters, traveling and eat out with family and friends. I have 3 beautiful children aged, 11, 5 and 1. I am living proof that anyone can make it in business, I have combinded ADHD and dyslexia.

Events Gear is a leading one stop shop for event equipment for both hire or purchase, we work with some of the biggest event organisers in the UK.
Sea King Cafe is a not for profit company in which I converted a Former RAF Seaking rescue helicopter into a cafe koisk, the profits from this business are donated to local charites and communities in need.
BPS Lettings is a unquie lettings agency, we own 2 Sea King Helicopters which have been converted into luxury glamping pods based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
In 2019 i was approched to be Operations Manager of an outdoor cinema company, I led a major restruction of the company and grew the business to £1.5m turnover within the first 12 months and managed 80 employees and was later promoted to CEO, unfornatley due to covid-19 the business closed shortly after my redundancy in late 2021.
In 2014 i founded the UK's first permentant drive-in cinema, grew the business to £2m turnover eventually selling the company in March 2018 to a mutliplex cinema owner.
In 2011 i setup Espawn which was an online Esports tournement platform, the business ultimatley failed, due to the lack of support for the Esports industy at the time. I am proud to have failed in business as it teaches a lot of skills.
